Hi,
My problem solved with changes below.
1- extracted U and V constituents from OTPX database
2- Then I changed ityp2dobu=ityp2dobv from12 to11
I hope this would be helpful for everyone with the same problem.
Regards,
Pooran

Re: tide modeling
HI Katrijn, Many thanks for your reply. I enabled the relaxation scheme in my test case before. Without the relaxation scheme, the speed value is so high in all boundaries, but this scheme has not worked for i=1,j=1 point I will check the above items that you said and I will back to you. Cheers, Poo...

tide modeling
Hi everybody, I am going to run a test case that has two open sea boundaries, the west and south boundary on barotropic mode. I have extracted the tidal constituents from the OTPS database. My result is good except in the UV- node (i =1, j=1). My speed reaches 2 m/s. Could you please tell me how to ...

Re: Test Case
Hi Muclishin, There is no especial test case for upwelling, but I could find upwelling in my results. I suggest you to make your test case step by step by your self. if you use the valid and correct input files (especially temperature and wind data) you can get the good results in the upwelling . Ho...

Re: tide
Dear Katriin, Thank you so much for your useful informaton. you said me before "If you do not feel comfortable with programming, try to adapt your file with amplitudes and phases like the one I put in attach. After you can copy and paste this code", unfortunately, I have lost these files.I...

salinity,temprature open boundary
Hi everyone, I'm running a model for the Persian Gulf. Now I'm trying to set the open boundary conditions. The model has two open boundaries, the eastern boundary is strait of Hormuz and another one is a river boundary at the North. I want to set salinity, temprature and river discharge in open boundari...

i am using coherens in domain with one open boundary(in east)in tidal region for first time.before, i used coherens in closed body without tide. I don't know how can add tidal force to coherens. would you please guide me that what harmonic forcing file should contain and in which dimensions?and how ...

Re: bad linking netcdf
I found Reply :D :D :D I installed sudo apt-get install netcdf-bin sudo apt-get install libnetcdf-dev and Then : in coherensflags.cmp: changed # netCDF library file NETCDF_LIB_FILE = netcdf to # netCDF library file NETCDF_LIB_FILE = netcdff in the makefile changed output from coherens to coherenszz....
